A professional violinist and teacher. Member of the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, associate concertmaster of Vancouver Opera Orchestra 2003 - present, former member of the CBC radio Orchestra. Live and in studio recording experience with orchestras, soundtrack work for Disney film/channel and other productions.
Recipient of numerous prizes, awards and grants. Extensive experience in standard repertoire, early and new music fields and opera. Performed with the Vancouver Symphony, community orchestras, broadcasts for CBC TV and radio and 16 yrs. with Westcoast Chamber music.
She has worked with notable conductors: Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Kazuyoshi Akiyama, Helmuth Rilling, Bramwell Tovey, Mario Bernardi, Richard Bonygne, Jonath Darlington and others.
Angela is also on the board of the CACR

Angela Cavadas added a new comment on the album Angela's PhotosAlthough Angela is often busy playing for the VSO or Vancouver Opera, she is also available to play at special events and is able to create a trio or quartet of wonderful players for a larger sound. Angela also teaches violin and is available for lessons.
